We know that users are spending increasing amounts of time wondering among the many social networks out there, but when exactly are users the most active? Many Social media management companies released studies that identify the days and hours users are most active on the social media channels maintained by companies and brands showing the importance of such tracking. In order for us to sell more we need to know our customers, analyze our marketing efforts and learn from mistakes as fast as possible to maximize profits.

Here are a few tools you’ll need to master to get to know you customers:

Google analytics:

After studying our visitors’ overview we have noticed a few important trends. Those trends were needed to be studied and further explained in order for us to maximize our analytic tools. One of the main things that pop out was the decrease in the amount of visits during the weekends. Currently we have over 3,000,000 page views serving 60,000 hits a day. That’s why we have decided to look further into this trend and draw conclusions.

If you have an e-commerce site, Google analytics will allow you to track sales down to the product level. By using this tool, you can track the adwords key words generating most traffic and refine your key words based on ROI calculations. You can enable e-commerce tracking in two quick steps: first, in your edit profile setting page click yes under the e-commerce area and let them know the type of currency. Then, you’ll need to add a short script to the source code on your e-commerce transaction page. Once you have done this Google Analytics will start recording your site’s activities and transactions. Overall revenue, average order value and product performance are just some of the important tracking offers Google enables you to see and track. Try linking your account into an adwords account and really gain important insights such as revenue per click, ROI and margin down to the keyword level.



Klout is a powertool you can’t afford to ignore if you have a message to share, a product to sell, or a business to grow. By using Klout you can find amazing partners with huge influence that use a simple strategy. Basically what Klout does is rate your social activity in a scale of 1-100, once your score increase your status in Klout changes accordingly. Our rate stands on 47 points which makes us “specialist”.

If you want to use Klout all you need you need to do is input a Twitter username and Klout’s algorithm will give you an assessment of online influence. According to Klout’s “About” page, the Klout score is the “measurement of a person’s overall online influence. Scores range from 1 to 100, with higher scores representing a wider and stronger sphere of influence.” Klout uses over 35 variables on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter to measure three factors: “True Reach,” “Amplification Probability,” and “Network Score.”

Moreover, Klout shows a list of topics where it determines the user’s influence. For example, it suggests Yotpo has influence regarding internet startups, apps, entrepreneurship, social media, reviews and more. That information is useful to anyone searching for influencers on such topics.

Klout Style

A feature that sets Klout apart from other influence measurement tools is Klout Style, which is an assessment of influence style or personality based on how often the user shares links or directly engages with others, and whether the content shared is original or from third-party sites.


Facebook insight

For all of you Facebook fanatics out there (us included), this simple Facebook tool could really improve your online sales by controlling and monitoring your activity. Facebook’s built-in analytics tools, can help marketers hone their Facebook-specific campaigns not just to get more “Likes,” but to better engage and excite those Facebook followers. After you have gathered all of the important data it’s time to put your money where your stats are.  Succeeding your understanding and analyzing of the different trends, focus your efforts in order to maximize revenue.  These might be some of the actions you’ll need to:

Better adwords campaign- target the right visitors with the right keywords. You need to make sure that the ads you’ve created are being displayed to the right people, and that you’re not paying too much for keywords that won’t offer you beneficial returns.

Find a tool that can help you measure your success and thereby, focus on social media tactics that are really working.

Deal offering - Daily deals are a great way to boost your profits and there’s more than one way to promote them. Some companies like Groupon and LivingSocial have made a business out of promoting daily deals–however, Facebook is just as capable of advertising.
